They liked the focus on personalities and politics, and though generals weren't an issue, they had some tough choices navigating negative, harmful cards in their hands. ![]() For him, part of the fun is figuring out how to get the nitwits out of the fray and off to some harmless backwater. They appreciated John's effort to provide a more open ACW command experience than previous titles on the war, but Campo prefers a more restrictive environment, particularly with respect to dealing with the burden of the McClellans and Braggs of the world. Campo liked the combat system better than he expected, though he still found it too deterministic and ' Dune-like' for his taste Jim didn't mind it. They only managed to get through two turns, and came away with a mixed impression.
